Our Story
How it began
My Little Farmer was started by the daughter of a farmer in 2017. After hosting a group of moms and their toddlers at her family farm in Chapel Hill, she realized that there was not a farm experience out there made just for young kids, especially one that provides safe, engaging, hands-on animal time taught by teachers with toddler and preschool experience. So, we created a portfolio of farm experiences that are safe, fun, creative, and equally enjoyable for parents, children, and animals.
Our classes offer an opportunity for kids to play outside and for you to escape the noisy & and chaotic indoor options available to you. And the best thing about it? No matter where you are, you'll know that if it's My Little FarmerTM, it's a quality program that you can trust.

PROGRAMS AT A GLANCE
Farm Tots is a grown-up and me class for ages 12 months - 24 months. Features fine motor skills, slower transitions, and age-appropriate farm animal interaction.

Little Farmers is a grown-up and me designed for ages 2-3, with wiggle room for younger and older siblings (1 & 4). Each week, your little one will explore the farm with a creative, experiential, and educational class. We have over 250 different class themes so you can come back time and time again!

Big Little Farmers is a grown-up and me class for ages 3-5. This is a great first step before our drop-off classes.

What's a farm without a garden? We offer a wide range of gardening classes including Growing Gardeners, For The Love of Bugs, Terrariums, Farm-to-table experiences and more.

We offer year-round drop-off programs for ages 3-10. Programs include Preschool and Kindergarten Aftercare, Animal Enrichment Clinics, Homeschool Groups, Chore Club, Farm Summer Camp and more.
Camps & Drop-Off
Get cozy in the farmhouse and experience indoor classes that highlight the farm. We offer seasonal specialty classes such as Little Chefs, Bunny Ballet, Farm Music and more.

My Little Farmer® is an early-education farm company, including toddler & and preschool classes, books, music & toys. Founded in 2017, our farm curricula for kids ages 1 to 9 are easy to implement and available nationwide. These unique classes are hosted at our own farm locations and partner farms, with our educational experience available at home through our children's books, music & and toys. My Little Farmer® is an Affiliate Company to Mini Rider Academy®
In 2019 our team founded the Mini Rider Academy®; a place for kids, ages 3-9, to experience the world of horses outside of your traditional show barn setting. We've created programs rooted in safety, fun, and confidence.; available for franchising opportunities, certifications, and more.
