Mini Rider Academy

The Mini Rider Academy is a place for kids, ages 3-6, to experience the world of horses.

We've created programs rooted in safety, fun and confidence, built specifically for kids under 6. This is the perfect first step into the horse world.

Unicorn Class

Ages 3-5
Class Time: 45-1 hour
(sold in 4 week sessions)
Max 5 children per class

Class Details
This class is all about unicorn fun. Each class includes a unicorn story, unicorn craft and a unicorn pony ride. ​
​
Riders will take turns with their lessons and partake in a craft and animal time in between rides
​
Structure Level: 5 (Scale of 1-6)
This is one of our most structured class with one on one instruction. That being said, we are not a riding academy and the purpose of this class is building confidence and FUN.

Mini Rider

Class Details
The perfect introduction to riding. Whether your little one is horse-obsessed or you're interested in trying something new, this class is for you.
Your child will learn how to groom, balance and steer a horse, all while gaining confidence. 

Riders will take turns with their lessons and partake in a horse craft and animal time in between rides.

Structure Level: 5 (Scale of 1-6)
This is our most structured class with one on one instruction. That being said, we are not a riding academy and the purpose of this class is building confidence and FUN.

Pony Club

Ages 4-6
and 7-9
Class Time: 1 hour
(sold in 6 week sessions)

Class Details
This is for pony lovers! Though not a riding class, our Pony Club will learn important horsemanship skills like grooming, tacking up, hand leading a horse, horse care, gaits and more. 
​

Ages 3-6
Class Time: 45 Minutes
30 minutes of riding
15 minutes of horsemanship

Class Details
Our lead-line lessons are built on building confidence around horses and making riding fun.This is the perfect option for a horse-loving toddler or for a 5/6 year old before starting at a lesson barn. 
​
The lead-line lessons include 30 minutes of riding with a focus on balance, position and confidence.
Paired with 15 minutes of horsemanship and grooming.
​
We do not offer arena lessons yet.​
​
For our ponies' safety, children must be under 65 lbs
​
