We can transfer your class credit to any My Little Farmer location within 30-days notice of the first day of class. The transfer is only applicable if there is space in the location of interest.
What if I have more than one child?
Additional Children (Siblings) are discounted. Children under 1 are free and can attend with you and your toddler.
Is there an additional cost for extra parents to attend? Additional parents are welcome to attend, but depending on the activity, the instructor may request only one parent to participate with their toddler at a time. We ask that you only bring 1 car per family due to limited parking.
What if I miss a class?
Make-up Class Policy: We allow 1 make-up class within the 6 weeks of the session you are registered in. Failure to make up the class within the 6 weeks may result in forfeiting the class credit. We will do our best to work with you as we know challenges and schedule changes are part of being a parent to a child under 5. For logistical reasons, we cannot guarantee any more than 1 make-up class within the 6 weeks.
What is your weather policy?
Classes are Rain or Shine unless otherwise notified by the venue. We have a heated barn space & indoor barn at both locations. If we cancel classdue to weather, you can join another class that works for you and it will not count as your make-up class.
Are the classes different between sessions 1 and 2 or different seasons?
Yes. We always add in 2-3 new classes each session and also change core classes seasonally. As an example, in summer you may be finding a watermelon in the garden while in the Fall, we will look for pumpkins and center our activity around the seasons. In the summer we visit the cow and make ice cream and in the winter we meet the baby goats.
Can I bring a stroller? Strollers are welcome! Most of the farm is grass so a stroller can be difficult in some spots if it has rained.
What should we wear? Closed-toe shoes are required. Pants are recommended if hay or grass bothers your or your child. Rain or muck boots are highly recommended after rain
Can we bring carrots? Large carrots, kale and apples are welcome!
Can older siblings attend? For the safety of our students and to maintain the quality of the class, we ask that you do not bring older siblings. We offer School's Out days and a special 1-2 hour drop-in rate for older siblings of our toddler class.
